Eibach Springs Pro-kits any good?
Hi everyone i just wanted to see if anyone had these springs before and can give me some good feedback? or suggestions for some springs that might be towards what im searching for?
i wanna lower my car about an inch to an inch and a half and i would get coil overs right now but i dont have the money just yet so im deciding to get springs.
i saw these springs on lextasy.com and wanted to see if they are good or not.
im looking for comfort more than anything else since i dont really race or hang turns and stuff. im thinking about getting 19 inch rims and maybe even 20 inch rims with low profile tires.
alot of people told me that the comfort level on the ride will decrease dramatically and i really dont want that.
long story short, whats the more comfortable springs for my situation on 19s or 20s?
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks!

They're not going to be stiff, but you are going to feel more of the road. Ride quality will not be compromise that much since Eibachs are one the softer side compared to other springs.
Note that even with these springs, your car will still look similar to stock when you're on 19s/20s. On OEM wheels, I had about 3-3.5 finger gaps in the front so you should take into consideration on how you want your car to look after upgrading the wheels.

im on eibachs as well, and i got 20s, i used to ride on Sprints and they suck compared to eibachs. theyre kinda high, but not too bad for my taste..i do like the lower look but where i live and the turns i take, the Eibachs fit perfect for me.

I had Eibachs on my old 02 GS430 and it drove/felt great to me. Drop was just enough for what I was looking for. Here some pics of the stance back in the day

I disagree with this. For someone who already knows how lower they want to sit, springs are fine. More often than not, people buy coilovers and never use them to their full potential. Just more money wasted.
Not sure where people get the notion that springs aren't as good.

Stick with some springs that will put your car where you want it.

Bringing this back from the dead 'cause I keep coming across it in my searches (yaayyy--someone found the search function )
Anyway, I could use some advice: I have 20" rims on their way, and I'm going to have to drop the car to prevent it from ending up fugly. I love the Eibach's drop--perfect, even wheel gap front and rear. But, I would like maybe 1/4-1/2" more drop, keeping the identical gap front and rear.
Several threads show pics, but every car looks different. 300s or 400s, system in the trunk or not, etc.
PS, I have a 400, with NO system in the trunk. Spring rate roughly 25% higher than stock would be nice.
Thanks!
