Default caliper question

Ive tried searching, spent a good hr trying to figure out what the circle part is. This isnt my pictures but I just received my calipers today and that circle part is cut. Help a fella out, Im guessing its the ABS? If so then Im SOL with retaining ABS for this swap?

Thanks in advance
Tom

it is a sensor on the ls400 that indicates brake pad wear. when you are down to almost nothing it start eating away at that sensor and the light on the dash will light up.

SC doesnt have that. it was meant for the LS400. it is not used in the brake swap.
