Default Tanabe DF vs GF Springs.

DF210 for GS300 98-05 6.0/5.6kg/mm 1.8/1.3" Drop.

GF210 for GS300 98-05 6.4/5.5kg/mm 1.8/1.3" Drop.

How much stiffer are the GF210 to the DF210??

I saw a guy who was selling them and had them (GF210) along with the bilstein shocks and said they rode great, "not too stiff at all" ... I was planning on getting a set but have decided to wait for coilovers ...

so just for clarification, higher spring rate means stiffer spring im assuming? meaning the GFs are just slightly stiffer than the DFs?

Yeh, but the Tein S-Tech is stiffer then the Tanabe GF210.

Tein S-Tech Kg/mm F9.0 R11.0 Drop F1.5" R1.1"

Tanabe DF210 Kg/mm F6.0 R5.6 Drop F1.8 R1.3"
Tanabe GF210 Kg/mm F6.4 R5.5 Drop F1.8 R1.3"

Yes i know. When i'm gonna order them i will order them at Tein it self.

Only the Tanabe is lower then the Tein. So just cut a ring off the Tein and you have a great result. But is the S-Tech stiif enough for cutting a ring off ??

Yeh i know it's a little Ghetto Style lowering. My quess is that the Tanabe's aren't stiff enough. It's the same with the Tein H-Tech. It's almost have of the numbers as the S-Tech but the Tanabe DF and GF go lower.

which is how they are able to go lower and still maintain the same ride quality as the s-tech
