I will be getting a 2009 IS 350 shortly. Does anyone know how long it will take for Lexus to add the 09's to the brake dust TSB? Is there anything that can be done to make this happen faster?

wow I am surprised they still use the high friction ones standard with how many people complain... (although I am not one of them, I do not mind cleaning my wheels every week)

Nothing to do with lazy for me. It's a free set of brake pads.
They stop in exactly the same distance anyway, plus just happen to produce less dust on top of it. Since I don't track the car or live on a mountain there's literally no sane reason NOT to get the TSIB done.

I agree, better things to do than clean brake dust every week.

^^ Yup! I'm a detail freak when it comes to my cars and I have to tell you, without hesitation, changing to the low dust pads was the best decision I ever made regarding my IS.
