Bilstein shocks? What else do you prefer with my setup?

You would have been fine with the kyb's. TONS of people use them, not just on lexus'. A guy I bought my wheels off of was actually trying to sell me a set of brand new kyb's for the 1GS for 100$. But I was getting coilovers so I didnt want them. The bilsteins are great too though. I had eibach prokit/bilsteins on my mkiiisupra. Its just waiting for 19/20's. If only cars could talk.

Overall, it seems as if most are happy with their spring and bilstein sport shock combo. I think I am going to go with the Tanabe NF210s and Bilstein sport combo.

Any and all advice will be appreciated!!!

I've had both KYB GR2s and Bilstein Sport shocks. I can honestly say that Bilstein is a better shock hands down. The KYB's are far too soft for a lowered car IMHO (I'm dropped on Daizens). KYB's are not really made for cars that have been lowered. Not to mention your warranty is considered VOID if your car has been modified. Trust me.. 3 blown in a matter of 8 mos. Im dropped 2'. You feel the road more with Bilsteins but still have a quality ride. In addition, Bilstein Sports will warranty a strut on a lowered car.

Here's a quote from Bilstein's site:
Bilstein Sport Valvings -
For the performance minded driver, Bilstein Sport units deliver absomute mastery of the road surface. Designed to push a car's suspension to its performance peak, these super-firm units are well suited for use with special springs, anti-sway bars, and other suspension upgrades. As with other Bilstein units, Sports are uniquely self-adjusting.

Hope this helps..
