Great news! All 2009 IS350's are now rolling off the assembly line with the TSB dust free pads. This has been confirmed by the latest update of the IS350 parts catalog. 2009 IS250's are using a different part number for the front pads but it's different than the TSB part number. More research and info to follow.

Can you explain how you're reading this screen shot? I'm not following. Thanks!

2008-09 is the starting production date, which means September, 2008. Of course, that means, 2009 models. GSE20 and GSE25 indicate IS250 RWD,and AWD, respectively. GSE21 indicated IS350. Notice the 04465-30400 part number for the GSE21. It's the same part number that's in the brake dust TSB as the replacement pad. This is the first time this part number has appeared in the IS catalog. 2006-2008 models all had 04465-30410's. Still doing research for the 250.
Here's a shot of the IS350, 2006-2008. Notice the production dates. Aug, 2005 thru Aug, 2008.

Since I'm about to pick up my special-ordered 2009 IS 350 in a few weeks, that's great! Thanks for the explanation.
Sure. It's a screen shot directly from the latest updated IS parts catalog.
