Bingo!!!!!! This guy is 100% correct!!!

Its also great to hand them a copy of the most current 2008 TSIB about the isssue.. Which covers 2006 to 2008...

L-SB-0121-08

You want these installed...(for an IS350)

IS350 - Alternative Low Dust Pad Part# is: 04465-30400

Good Luck

Guys thanks for the feedback

I am going to a different dealership now, I just wanted to express my displeasure of this dealership.

Joe Z- thank you for that updated form

Guys everytime I went in I took a copy of the TSIB papers. Everytime I took it they acted like they had never seen it before and this last time i took it the service guy told me only master technicians get a hold of "this stuff"

Just tell the service guy you're in the "Master Technicians" club, ans TSB get distribute monthly.

I've gotten my stealership to change them TWICE!

First time I complained about the dust so they changed them with no hassel.
Second time (about 6 months after) I complained about the dust again and they made a squeak sound (started from day one) so they changed them with no problem again. Still having issues with dust though. I give up

no, the 250 qualifies too. my sister has an '07 and got it done earlier this year at the dealership no questions asked.

Joe Z, is there a more recent TSIB for the '09s? I'm getting crazy brake dust as well and my car's literally like 2 and a half weeks old. if I call lexus headquarters and complain could they force the dealership's hand to swap out my pads to those alternative low dust pads you mentioned?

Way to early in the game for that...

Example: 2008 IS350 arrived early Sept 07'..
The updated TSIB for the 08' IS350 was released late Sept 08'..
Over a year of waiting...

You might find this thread interesting regarding the 2009's..

I had mine done at Keyes. No questions asked and car came back without scratches, dents, or dings.

How about 24K on a 2007?

Has anybody successfully got the dealer to replace the pads on a car with mid-20K miles (while still under warranty)?
