If your car is under warranty you can request the TSIB.

Well, you can -request- it anytime I guess, but you're only -entitled- to it while the car is under factory warranty. (4 yr/50k for folks in the US)

The TSIB does not address "Brake Squeaking"... it only addresses "Brake Dust"

Ever since I heard the breaks on a Lamborghini Murcielago squeak I told myself I could live with mine at least while I wait to upgrade to some BBK.

I called two dealerships today and asked if my car qualifies and their answer was a big HECK NO!!! Sucks. I wish I woulda known about this recall much earlier. Oh wells.

You should be fine with 24K since the recall says "48 months or 50K miles" whatever comes first.

maybe i should just complain about the brake dust and get the pads looked at.
the squealing gets kind of bad, i always get stares at stop lights. LOL

Did you buy it Certified Pre-Owned ??

If you did, you might be able to get them to swap the pads if your complaint is for the "Excessive Brake Dust", as found in the TSIB..
(not a recall)
