Brake Noise
I recently started noticing a groaning/rumble noise when I brake at highway speeds (above 60 or so). The car stops straight, there is no pulsation in the pedal like you would get from a warped rotor. I just got back from a 1200 mile trip for the holidays and I consistently had the noise with my brakes at highway speed.
The noise is worse when you brake harder and at higher speeds. It seems to be coming from the rear. When I was driving, it sounded like it was coming from the passenger rear, but when I was a passenger, it sounded like it was coming from the driver side rear.
I apologize if this has already been asked but it didn't seem like it
The car has 31,200 miles on it. I had the 30k service done at 28,100 and the brake pads were in spec at that point. The rear tires are the orginal Dunlops.
Any ideas what it could be? Could it be tires?

By the way, I realized I forgot to post the results. The rear rotors needed to be turned. Once they did that (the dealer did it under warranty) it went away. So, if you ever notice this, check the rear rotors.
