So I just got these springs installed today, Nice drop, feels just like stock... could not tell the difference. I'll have pictures up later, BUT does anyone know the springrate for these springs?

Do you know if they cut down the bumpstops? My bumpstops are not cut and my drive feels nothing like stock. Uber harsh... feels like I'm ridding on my bumpstops...

You are not supposed to cut the bumpstops as per the instructions from H&R.

People over-exaggerate when they say it feels like stock. Only stock feels like stock. My H&R's are not bumpy and harsh like you mentioned, but they are not as soft as stock. It IS still a smooth ride.

After much research, it seems H&R only says not to cut the bumpstops becuase that the 'safe' thing to recommend on their part... it literally feels like I'm bottoming out my shocks for every little bump.

In my mind, it doesn't make sense to NOT cut them... you just lost about 1.5 inches of travel from your suspension... only way to get that back is to cut an inch or so from your bumpstop. There's still the top part of the bumpstop left, so if it ever extends down that are, you still have some protection. Its a trade off really.

I'm going to have my tech cut an inch from my bumpstop and report back with my findings...

Let us know how it feels. I think it's something else that's causing your harsh ride.. like your shocks

I don't know man, I dont' think so. Shocks are new (only 4.5K miles on my car)... and the drive into the shop on F-Sport springs (bumpstops were cut) felt great, drive away from shop (H&R's installed and cut piece of bumpstop put back on) felt harsh. I doubt something happened to my shocks while at the shop.

There have been cases where COMPLETELY STOCK 2IS' have been having bad shocks. Just check, just in case.

Keep in mind also, that different springs rates for different springs will also affect the rate of compression and rebound as well. The F-Sport's are being that they're badged "Lexus" parts, they may be designed to be closer to stock rates. Where as H&R's may have been designed more for performance. The trade off may be slight ride comfort, but better handling, and obviously better looks. I have H&R's and while the ride is not "Stock" it's definitely still comfortable.

That's a negative. I know what you're saying as far as the ride goes. Going over speed bumps and dips on the freeway is a bit harsher. IMO, a fair trade off for better turn in, roll, and ride height. But keep in mind, I come from an '04 WRX wagon with full suspension. Stance GR+ Pro coilovers, Cusco front and rear sways, Front and rear sway bar endlinks, Cusco front and rear strut bars, Fender Braces, etc.... Yeah, needless to say, I'm happy with the ride in the Lex with H&R's...LOL.

wait a sec, you guys are saying that bumpstops do have something to do with the drop? ..meaning if you cut them, your car will go lower? i didn't remove mine, or even cut them and i have an uneven drop..driver side has no finger gap at all, other side has a gap and its freaking annoying
