Default General "NOOB" questions about lowering springs

I'm thinking about getting the Eibach IS250 Pro-Kit for my IS250 with stock 18"s. Just had some general questions:

1. Will Lexus void my warranty?

2. Are their any short/long term issues? (premature wear, busted shocks, etc)

3. How much does it usually cost for a "good" shop to install the springs?

1. If there's a problem as a result of the springs, they probably will give you some hassle. Unless you get F-Sport springs, of course.
2. Short term, no. Although, some members have reported that there is an increased risk of increased long-term wear.
3. I've seen anywhere between $200-$500.

1. even with f-sport springs, unless you can provide proof they were installed at a certified lexus service center, you'll only get 12 months for its warranty.
2. no short term issues i've heard. at most, you'll increase the wear of the shocks.
3. go to your local speed shop. i'm sure there are plenty of them in the bay area. check the regional forums for recommendations.

To clarify the warranty issue-

NOTHING can "void" a new car warranty.

However, if you have a problem that a dealership can prove is -caused- by an aftermarket part, they are not obligated to fix that specific problem. Anything else remains covered.

In the case of the F-sport stuff if you install it somewhere other than a lexus dealer the part itself carries a 12-month warranty, if you install it at a lexus dealer than the part itself carries a warranty that is the same length as your remaining new car warranty, or 12 months, whichever is longer.
