Default Lowering question

I live in Wisconsin where the winters are tough and lots of snow. The main reason for the Lexus is the AWD. With that being said I really like the look of a lowered car and a nice set of wheels. I would like to eventually run two different sets of wheels. One set for winter, one for summer. From the research I have done the F-Sport springs are the most mild of drops. Like I said I do not want to compromise winter driving and maybe it being lowered wont, just wondering what you all think. What would be my best option?

Thanks guys/gals

I wouldnt lower you car if you live in a snowy place because its more closer to the road which means it is more likely for salt to get on your car and also you cant drive if the snow elevation is mild.

f-sport springs is probably the most mild drop out there, after it settles, the drop is 1.2 inch all around. I live in Canada, and have no problems driving aroudn with record breaking snow we have this year. however, i do get a lot of ice and snow build up in the wheel wells, but you can remove them. Some times your bottom will scrape snow, but not a big issue. If i were you i'd wait for the coilovers, they have made them for the AWD now, and supposed to come out soon. I'm changing to coils this summer, so next winter i can jack the car up.

Good idea on the coilovers! How hard and time consuming is it to change the ride height? Once changing the ride height does it have to be realigned (4 wheel alignment?) If so that could get a little expensive for me switching out wheels and ride height twice a year....

I live in Wisconsin too. Milwaukee to be exact. Dropped the AWD over the summer and put 19's on. Haven't had a tough time at all this winter even with the boatload of snow and bitter cold. The car still runs incredibly -- a bit rougher with the drop -- although I am planning on putting in a rear sway at some point when the weather turns a bit more favorable. I do agree with the previous recommendation on switching to coilovers as well. Where are you from?
