Default MK3 supra lower control arms

My recently acquired SC400 has a bunch of suspension noise in the front end that I read alot about happening alot on here.

What I'm doing is gathering extra suspension parts and putting new bushings in them all before I take the car apart. That way I can stab it out in a day by just swapping suspension parts, without any down time.

I have a buddy who is parting out a MK3 supra, and he said that the front lower control arms off of his car would work on mine. With a little research, I found that the bushings for the MK3 front lowers are not only cheaper, but they also have replaceable ball joints.

I tried searching on here, but couldn't find anything about anyone using mk3 front lower control arms on SC cars..

93 to 98 lowers are compatible. The 97 and 98 are more expensive due to their composition being out of aluminum.

so did you end up testing mk3 control arms or did you just give up on it like most people. place to find cheap control arms? go to a yard and buy a mk3 LCA for cheap and try it out.

you can do the same with the SC LCA. go to the yard. remove the arm. check the ball joint. if it good then just replace the bushings and youre good to go. youre doing yourself a favor anyways by changing the bushings.

if you dont like spending money on factory parts then you need to be ingenious and/or a DIY-type-of-guy. if you dont have money AND lazy then you will never get anything accomplished.
