Only One Way To Diagnose Bad Wheel Bearing???
#16
Wheel bearing was a P.I.A. because of having to press the old bearing out. I had my f-i-l do it for me which took him 2 weeks because of his schedule. I have had my VR-4 for 9+ years and love it. With that said, driving that car everyday getting in and out in suits, hauling golf clubs, etc. is a b*tch. I have never missed my Lexus so much
Anyways, getting the bearing only is much cheaper. However, I may pay the premium and just replace the entire hub me next go-around. My car had 60k when the noise developed. The noise is now much better, but I still have a slight "whirring" in the rear so the other one may need replacing. What I cannot figure out is it still sounds like it is coming from the right rear which is the new bearing
