Default KYB-GR2 w/Tein S-Tech springs

Does anybody have this setup? If so, could you post pics so I could see the drop? Thanks.

I guess I'll post drop pics when I get them installed once I get the strut mounts.

A quick search turned these up.

so far, I've got Tein S TECH SPRINGS (1.8" and 1.7"rear) I just got an alignment and now the camber is near perfect. I'm okay with em, but wish I could go lower.

I don't wanna eat tires all the time.

But, I love to see the other CL members cars dumped. They look sweett all layed out on the ground.

The car is really dirty and these were quick pictures, nothing special. My roof spoiler is in the shop getting repainted Black. Pictures dont do justice.

So by demand, here is the BLACK ROOF!!

I love it, but to each their own.

Hey Debonair, thanks for the reply. That first pic looks pretty good. I'm just afraid that I will scrape like crazy. I already scrape and I'm only on L-Tuned springs on stock shocks. This morning I scraped my front bumper taking a turn too fast and it dipped into a sewer drain.

That sounds more like a "too soft" spring issue as opposed to a "too low" situation. Check and see if the S-Techs have a higher spring rate. That should help keep your bumper from dipping low into corners. You might also consider a better front sway bar to keep you level through hard turns.

Yea I actually went on their website and the spring rates seem to be too stiff, especially for some springs that are supposed to be made for use with the stock shocks. I think it's 9 in the front and 11 in the back. You also have to take into consideration that I have the Tom's front bumper which sits lower than the stock front bumper. Oh well as long as the stance is right, will just have to live with it and becareful driving.

I just installed a rear spring on the rear KYB shock. Is it supposed to be tight? Like I can turn the strut mount without the springs being compressed. For the front do I have to install the stock rubber bump stop. If I install the bump stop I can't install the strut mount. Can someone post pics of the shocks and springs assembled but off the car? Thanks.

I figured out the problem with the rear suspension. I'm missing the rubber insert for the strut mount so that's why it feels loose because the mount is not holding the spring down tight enough. How much do I have to cut on the front bump stop?
