Default New TSIB break make more noise???

I call my Lexus dealer to have done the TSIB brake because of noise when I slowly break and for the dirt. My dealer say with the new brake in TSIB it will be more noisy. Is it true?

Thanks,

The brakes do sqeak when coming close to stopping--like when I pull into my garage or come to a final stop at a red light.

Otherwise, no. I hardly notice it.

no they're not more noisy. I got them changed and I NEVER heard a noise from my brakes. the Dealer is just trying NOT to give u the brakes. screw them and get it done. less cleaning

No you don't.

You notice a difference in the feel of the system.

it's -impossible- for different brake pads to change normal stopping distance.

The TSIB pads feel more linear (ie less grabby) when you start to apply the brakes, but I assure you they will stop the car in -exactly- the same distance as the original pads. Physics requires them to.

Now, if you're asking can pads wear out in 20k miles, certainly can, especially if you're hard on em, and worn pads will certainly be noisy, but unless the pads are -gone- that too won't change stopping distance.

got mine replaced with no hassle from my local dealership and i must say i'm very happy with them now. the original ones did occasionally make noise in the morning when i first rolled out of my community but now i hear nothing. the brake feels much better like i have better control and smoother

Thanks,
for me, brake dust disappeared, and no new noises. as a matter of fact with the old pads i would sometimes hear a scraping when stopping, new pads may even be quieter overall. the new pads seem less grabby (i.e. seems to stop a bit smoother) but i like it better.

I say do it - the reduction in brake dust is incredible.
