Hi guys, I own a 1993 SC300. For the past few months I've had steering problems with my car. When I turn the steering wheel to either direction, there is a delay in the reaction time from the steering wheel to the tires. It seems to get worse over time and obvious more dangerous, especially on the highway. I think it might be the tierods? can anyone tell me what my problem is and what I should look for? Thank you.

Check your steering rack bushings.
1. Turn on your engine
2. Have a buddy sit in the car and turn the steering wheel back and forth (10 o'clock to 2 o'clock position) continuously really quick
3. Take a look under the car at the steering rack. If it's moving, then your bushings are shot.
It's not uncommon for it to wear out by now, after all they're rubber.
