Bad wheel bearing? Lexus techs please chime in.
For the past few weeks I have been experiencing some light vibration during braking at freeway speeds. So I tried re bedding- in the brakes with a series of near stops from about 60 mph. This did not solve the vibration issue.
With nearly 40k on the odometer I figured it was time to replace the rotors, so I insalled a new set of pads and rotors, bedded them in this morning and headed for the freeway. Vibration still there?!? So when I got home I checked for any play in the wheel bearings, but they seem o.k.. The tires aren't showing unusual wear.
I'm at a loss, anybody have any ideas?

is the vibration ONLY when braking at FREEWAY speed? if so, it can't be a bent rim, coz if you have a bent rim you're probably going to feel the vibration at any speed..
I would say uneven brake rotors..but you said you have rebedded the rotors..hmm..

Wheel weight came off. Being a little off balance or a little bent does not show up at all speeds and will have more pronounce effects at higher speeds. Check balance, check tires for roundness (internal belt failure can cause this issue), and check wheels for round & true.
