Dissapointed with my drop (F-Sport)... What springs should I get? (pics included)

they created new coils for the AWD.. selling them now in the vendor marketplace.
i thought the reason why the AWDs sit half an inch higher was just because the springs were higher too. if you swap out the springs... you should have the same drop?
didn't somebody say that the 2009's sat higher than the 06-08s anyway? that might be the problem too.

OP, If you don't want to go much lower, then perhaps you should wait until the springs are completely settled and see if it is what you want. When I installed my Tanabe NF210s I wasn't convinced at first that it was even lowered. Then it settled and it gave me the tasteful drop I wanted, 1" in the rear and .8" in the front. I drive aggressively on 20's so I can't slam it like others have on this forum.
However, if you want at least an inch lower, then S-Techs or Coilovers are the way to go...good luck.

OP Go with the Tein S Techs Or get the coils offered by our new vendor. I sold my Tein S Techs to a local member IceZ if you want to PM him and he can show you pics. Here is a pic of my car with them on but I am RWD....

ROFL... ive been saying this all along, do not buy fsport springs... either buy eibach prokit is250 (not the 350 even if you have a 350) or tanabe df210
honestly~ i really dont know why ppl buy the fsport springs...

it's about a finger gap up front and half a finger gap in the rear on oem 18's. i think everyone else on s-techs will tell you the same.
if you're looking to get an even drop at all four corners for your awd 2is, your only option is to go w/ coilovers.

Most of the spring are around $200, eg Tein & Tanabe, and I guess they do about the same as your o/e-sports set.
I never recommend spring drop since there won't be adjustment available when installed.
Try coilovers if you can spare a bit more love to your car. Come on!! $200 springs for a $40k car? It drops your car and the value.
Good luck with your shopping.

the awd models now have an available coilover which is basically only way to go for a drop since it sits so high. the rwd models can sit perfect on springs and/or coilovers depending on wheel/tire setups and only way to be fully adjustable...coil$$$
