Default What do you guys think (about spacers)?

i have a few questions regarding spacers and the is350 calipers.

Spacers.....I'm tryin to get the rims as flush as i can w/ the car's fenders, now i have the stock rims, stock tire size (staggard from the dealer) I believe the fronts are 225 and the rears are 255s. What size would you guys recommended for front and rears? Also are there any downfall to getting spacers? Would I need longer lugnuts or longer stud bolts? Right now I have Rays 32MM lug nuts...

the is350 caliper shouldn't have a problem fitting the wheels after spacers after they are installed or that wont even have anythin to do w/ clearance? I want this set up for my brakes.....IS350 calipers...stoptech drilled/slotted rotors, stoptech stainless steal brake line, what do you guys think?

Any advise is appreciated, thanks guys

spacers will increase the clearance for your brakes, so you will be fine. Even without them the IS350 brakes will still fit inside your wheels.

I like the look of spacers. I have a set of 20mm eibach pro spacers on my rear wheel and it makes a huge visual impact IMO.

If i could go back in time i would probably run 20mm spacers on the front (or 15mm if 20mm rubs) and 25mm on the rear. It will look perfect

20mm in the front would rub. 22-23mm in the rear would be about perfect, as 20mm is just a tad bit inside the fender.

You can search for MisterT car. He has the front 15 and the rear 20mm spacers.

I don't have them yet... they are under "future mods" ... I want to get them sometime this year though. 15 looks good up front... but 20 in the back is just inside the fender. Thats why I want to get 25r, but am not sure if it will rub with a drop, like the H&R springs I am getting later on. ...

I didnt see that, sorry, i was on with my phone But it shouldn't rub, I'll have to see measure and be sure soon as I get the car back (i'm on h/r springs) only thing that i'm worried about is the uneven drop i got w/ the h/r springs, like my driver side is alot lower than my pasenger side, i know its not form the installation, everything was torqued to spec and after searching some members do get have this issue and the only way to correct it is w/ coilovers

I have a set of custom made spacers (hub and wheel centric) for 2nd is350 with studs. Here is the link, let me know if you're interested.
