Default F sport Sway bar!!!

Hi~Guys!

I have a question for F sport sway bar.

Actually, I got f sport sway bar for IS250 AWD just Rear one, but my car is Is

According to the westminister Lexus dealer, it doesn't matter.

However, I would like to have exctly correct answer for this!! from CL memebers.

Do I have to return it back, and get a full set of F sport sway bar for IS350?

My car is on the sevice for body repair.. someone heat my car and ran awy..

Anyway, I hope I would have a good answer for this!!

Thanks guys~

Drive safely^ ^

According to F sport.com,
PTR02-53082 Front and Rear set,Is250 And 350 except AWD,'06 Through '08 only
PTR02-53094 Front and Rear set,Is250 And 350 except AWD,'09 only
PTR02-53080 Rear Only,Is250 AWD only,'06 Through '09.

My car is 07 IS350, but I got PTR02-53080.

I ordered just for Rear sway bar, and they sent this.

I want to make sure that!!

People say just having the rear sway makes majority of the difference. I installed mine as a set. For me, I believe both units makes a difference as a set. Though I have never tried them separately. The biggest stiffness upgrade is from the rear. The front offers only a 6-8% difference. But hey, I buy my shoes as a pair why not the sways if they offer it! BTW the rears are the same for the 250 w/or/wo AWD and 350.

Wow, good answer!

However, as you know, I already bought just Rear one.

Someday, I would have Front sway bar also!!

Ah!! If I install the Front sway bar, does the cover would be still there?

OR the covers have to be displaced.

Thanks for your kind reply!

according to sewell lexus, the rear sway bars for awd and 2wd are the same. They should fit just fine. I ordered the rear awd from sewell and installed it without any problem.

You remove the front under-covers to install the front bar, but then they go right back in place after it's installed.

For those of us IS250 AWD folks who bought the rear bar already, according to Sewell there is now a matching front bar - part PTR02-53085. Quoted price of $286.

The rear sway bar that comes in the set for the 350 is larger in diameter than the rear one for the 250awd. not by much though.... who know's if you can actually tell the difference once it's installed.

^^^^This seems to come up over and over again.

1. The old kit for the 250AWD (rear bar only) is 19mm and is the same rear bar used in the two bar set for the RWD X50.

2. The new kit sold for the 250AWD has smaller bars front and rear than the X50 RWD kit. The rear bar is 17.5mm.

The specs for all IS sway bar's is attached.
