Default BC racing Coilovers.

just got some custom spring/ valved BC coilovers. 20front/ 16 rear. haven't had time to drive the car, finished too late.

but here is a photo of the first lowering... rear has lots of room to go lower. fronts are almost as low as it can go. i am sure its not drivable at this height. haha..

remember this is on coilovers.

car will be raised up a little and have a different set of wheels. pictures will come on Wednesday.

I hope that isn't a real Vertex kit, because it would take a beating at that height. LOL! BTW nice work on both your cars, that GS looks amazing.

thats a version select kit. have a real vertex front that's crashed sitting on the side.

i dont plan to keep this kit for too long... waiting for it to crack and fall apart. haha.

need harness tuck ASAP!!!

so custom valved and all? huh?

why the hell do you need 20/16?

you know that most really 5hitty china-brand coils are really oversprung to compensate for the poor valving.

haha.. these are Taiwan-brand . haha. and out of the box these would of been 6front 8 rear or something. i asked for the 20/16 oversprung spring and valving.

and i wanted something so stiff cause i wanna slam the car low and not have to worry about rebound and hitting out

gotta get some exhaust stuff done. so i wont have pictures till maybe Friday.

Keep us posted on how those work out for you. Many people don't realize that BC actually manufacturers MANY well known coilover brand's systems. (ie - Greddy's old coilover systems, Apex-i's, Megan Racing, D2..etc)

Note that the old site they used to use since 06 has changed. Before they'd even post contact info for coilover system re-branding/coloring. They used to frequently contact us when I worked @ Vivid Racing/Agency Power to get us to buy in bulk for "Agency Power" branded coilover systems.

Not knocking what you're using, just shedding some info on them.

i doubt they are 6 front and 8 rear. the front is heavier and will always have stiffer spring rates. 8f/6r i can see that but thats way too soft. thats softer then stock. with the motion ration of our suspension those rates are too low.

if you really want to slam your car, never worry about rubbing, AND have a nice comfortable ride get your front wheel wells tubed. im sure you know some 240sx owners or some fabricators. it wouldnt cost that much to have it done.

car as it sits now. cant clear driveways but drives from sanbruno to san jose no problem. ride is stiff but in a good way. rears are pretty much full down with preload. if i wanna lower the rears more i would need to adjust it from preload. which i will not do.

dont think i can go any lower in the front with this kit. i still need to enter light driveways.

more pictures should be up by tomorrow.
