factory Camber adjustment
hi all.i have a 93'ls400.just changed my rear shocks (tyre wire 1sided) and wondering would adjusting the camber adjustment bolt to '0'position on both the rear wheels effectively sets the camber angle to the 'original' factory state?thanks in advance.

First, this is the SC forum
Second of all..No..adjusting the bolt back to 0 will not give you 'original' spec because your car came with negative camber to start with. Also, your rubber bushings from your control arms are probably worn out by now (16 years does a lot to rubber), so even if you have the camber bolt to the same position as stock, your camber may not be the same.
Also, your toe may change if you touch the camber bolt. It's better just to bring it in for an alignment.

thanks for the speedy replies.sorry about posting on the sc forum as there were none suspension specific threads in the ls forum.have actually changed the trail-arm bushing when doing the shocks.guess i just have to make do with the 'strings' method when doing the toe-in and alignment but that would not be able to adjust the camber.any advise? (the nearest workshop with proper wheel balancing/alignment equipment is about 200km away and my ucf10 is 1 of the 4's still on the road here!sic!
