If the timing belt hasnt been done it needs to at that mileage. it should have been done at 90k. Ball joints arent that big of a deal, more a hassle than anything. If the rotors arent in that bad of shaped maybe you can have them turned. I havent had to do this to my rotors yet but when the time comes I am going to try to have them turned, even though they are cross drilled.

 

So it looks like i'm buying the car... either that or a z3 m coupe, it just depends on which test drives better.

I've tried to contact stillen about replacement rotors and apparently i need to measure the rotor and take detailed pics of each corner for them.

So in regards to the Hawk pads... you wouldn't happen to have a part number would you?

Why are you selling the brakes or is this your old front set after you went 4 corner?

Its a 2001, silver, 120k, 4 corner stillen / ap racing kit, black interior that looks flawless, sound system i'm not sure .

Should be fun when i check the car out as all i really know to look for is the timming belt being replaced and other standard wear items lol.

 

You are dead on correct. When I went to the 4 corner set up, the AP Front set up on the 4 corner is even larger, in order to balance out with the rears.

I had these old ones sitting for over a year now. I'll be cleaning them up, re-paint, etc. before putting them up for sale. They'll come with brand new pads, etc. I might put them up for sale in about 5 or 6 weeks. Too busy right now to do it right now.

 

What are you planning on asking for the AP's??

even though its a 2001 with the newer ball joints at this mileage make sure they were changed, water pump, timing belt, plugs, diff fluid, etc etc
assuming its mechanically sound IF ITS GOT NAV JUMP ON IT IF IT DOESNT HAVE NAV JUMP ON IT FOR THIS PRICE the extras alone are worth ALOT!
still makes me wonder why grandma has 4 corner BBK'S...rims,sound system. wonder if its her kids and he's trying to pass off a beat on car as a old lady mobile or maybe this is my long lost grandma

I'm going to re-paint them, I had new emblems engraved, brand new pads and probably turn the rotors.

I originally bought the pads and ordered new emblems because I was cleaning them up for myself, then the 4 corner set up happened. I'll have a lot to do to get them prepped and ready for sale so that they're ready to bolt on for the next person. I have to dig up receipts, etc, so I can't really say what I'll be asking for. You can look up the classifieds to get a ball park of what they have sold for in the past.

 

i thought you had sold your old set up? Are these the 13.5" rotors? I'm tempted to get these...... btw: your pm is full
