Question IS350 front brakes on IS250 AWD??

Did a search and could not find anything on this topic. So would IS350 front brakes fit the IS250 AWD?

I couldn't find it either but if you PM ExclusivIS, he's the first one that did the conversion.

Why?

Stock wheels on the IS350 are 17s.

The brakes should fit- though of course they won't actually do anything but look better unless you're tracking the car or routinely driving down mountainsides.

I guess a quick way to verify this would be to compare the part numbers on the front rotor for IS250 RWD and AWD. I guess if the part number is the same, then AWD should take the 350 brakes with no problem.

Anyone with access to look up part numbers?

I'm running 19 inch wheels, I should be OK clearing the 350 calipers.

Kurtz, you're right. This is all for looks

RWD and AWD brakes are the same, so IS350 breaks will fit and they will fit behind the awd 17's since they are the origional equipment for all model lines.

the same brakes on the IS250 are on the GS350AWD running 17" rims. and the suspension set up is exactly the same between the IS and GS. i've done the suspension on my IS and also my fathers GS.

You actually won't clear the front calipers. You will need at least a 5mm spacer up front, the rears are fine.
