Default Anyone try S-Tech springs with F-Sport Shocks?

I'm thinking of trying this to get the lowering of the s-techs, with the performance of the F-sport shocks. Is this a bad idea, or should I just stick to F-Sport springs + shocks?

it's not a bad idea, and i don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

however, for the price of s-techs and f-sport shocks, you should probably start looking into coilovers.

yah...consider coilovers if you are going to spend that much!

I don't want to mess with adjusting coilovers because I know I will want to adjust it everyday if I have the option to.

I would look into H&R's and F-Sport Shocks. Perfect combo IMO.

I've ridden on both S-techs and H&R's installed in IS on stock suspension and I preferred the S-techs, was softer when normally driving around and then was stiff for more aggressive driving. H&R were fairly rough and bumps were killer. The bumps around the places I drive to area already pretty bad on stock springs and would be even worse.

Your ride will become rougher when you add the F-Shocks. Something to consider.

Vikh..that's true..hmm making me reconsider things. haha
How is the sport shock in comparison to stock shock? That sounds like a decent compromise for nice stock plush ride with some sport characteristics.

^ Buy Vik's FSport set up Springs/Shocks so he can get coils

I have driven Vik's car and the FSport set up is very nice and I like the shocks. Its all on what you are looking for. If you want a sport ride then I say get them. If you want more of a comfortable ride just do the springs. I had the Tein S springs with OEM springs. The ride was perfect for springs and so was the drop. Could have been a little more stiff but all in all they did the job. Vik has driven my old car with the Tein S and OEM so he can compare the FSport and them and give you a good review of them both. You cant go wrong either way. The nice thing with the F set up is you keep warranty so that is worth something

G/L in your decision!
