Under braking a lot of the weight/engery shifts to the front brakes, but the system works concert so any uncalculated change to the system could adversly impact the dynamics of the system. And despite what some may represent about tires being the only variable that can improve braking performance and stopping distance it is a lot more scientific than that. Save yourself the money and don't bother unless you are purchasing an entire system engineered for your car with a specific use in mind, such as tracking your car on a routine basis.

If you track your car occassionally one simple and relatively inexpensive thing you can do to improve performance is install some stainless steel brake lines.
