tsb brake question is250 2006
While at the dealership today I mentioned that my 2006 is250 brakes squeaked and I wanted them replaced per the tsib. They said they would see what they could do, and later that day the rep called to say the brakes had been replaced free of charge. When picking up the car I found that they had only replaced the front pads and installed the pre-tsib dusty pads (parts number 04465-53020).
Two questions -
1. Should both the front and rear pads have been replaced?
2. Should I ask that brakes be replaced with the new parts number 04465-53030?
Thanks in advance - I just want to make sure I have all the info before going to battle with the dealership.

Do the brakes squeak now? If they don't, they fixed your chief complaint. Rear pads are not authorized to be replaced by the TSIB in any case. You can ask about the low dust pads, but they're just following standard procedure. You would have been ahead to complain about squeaking AND dust with your initial complaint.
