Default Review: BC Coilovers for IS250 AWD

I am very happy with my purchase so far. I only have them in for a short time but here is my impression. Again this is just my opinion.

The Overall construction is good, and made well. The The install was straight forward and easy.

When I first got it I decided to try full soft + 5clicks. The ride is very similar to stock, maybe slightly stiffer but not really noticeable at all. It was very comfortable and surprisingly quite smooth. However I did notice that on bigger dips or bumps (have to love NY roads) the wheels where still hitting the fender liner so had to change it up.

For the hell of it I decided to then switch it to full hard.. My god this is not meant for daily driving at all. It’s exactly what it says hard. I would assume it would be perfect for those that auto cross. I did get on it just to see how it would react and there was no lean at all. It was actually really nice and stiff, able to corner great. It felt really good and gave someone like myself who doesn’t really get on the car, the confidence to whip around turns.

I did finally just put it in the middle, its comfortable and still offers good handling.

Overall I have to say I’m very happy with them, it’s much better option then springs and OEM struts in my opinion.

pix after they where installed:

Thanks for your nice posting, I'm just considering to buy them recently. Your car is AWD right? make sure i wont buy something that wont fit my car, i got AWD too. Also is it easy to adjust the setting?
