I trying to decide if I should get both the shocks and the springs, or just slap the springs on my stock lux pack shocks....?
what will the difference be handling wise?

Yea, just reuse your stock shocks for now and get the F-Sports shocks when your stock shocks are gone.
I'm guessing ride quality will be softer using stock shocks as opposed to the F-Sport/Bilsteins.

I opted for both shock/spring at the same time since you basically have to pay the install cost twice if you decide you want the shocks after the fact.
Anyway, I believe the bilsteins would feel better than the stock shocks even without the f-sport springs. For me it feels like the stockers are over-damped and kick off of big bumps/ripples, but that's just my .02.

I have just the springs, you can tell a major difference in handling but the ride didn't really change still feels like stock to me, I would say hold off on the shocks unless you will have the car for more then like 3-4 years you really wont have to change out the shocks the stockies should hold up. Let me know if you have anymore concerns. IS-J

I guess the springs take care of minimizing the compression afterall, but the shocks might alter the rebound a little aswell in addition..?
I also doubt I will keep it for 3-4 more years...
hmm what to do what to do...
thanks for inputs!

The shocks definitely make the car a better handler. Here is a review of an F-Sport equipped IS250. It states that the IS250 F-Sport is faster in the slalom than the IS-F! I have the F-Sport shocks for sale if interested.
