The mounting system is different. I think TRD err Tom's sells the brackets.

I'd say just get a BBK instead of trying to fit the IS-F brakes on. At least you'll get a brake system that has proper brake proportioning and bias.

3GS/IS and IS-F brakes are not plug and play for the 2GS. They are 6 piston front and 4 piston rear and Carson was selling them for about $1700 front and $1700 rear.

Also keep in mind you will need wheels with BBK clearance.

Most brake systems will work fine for the average user, most cars have roughly about the same forward inertia to stop (as for the brake bias) post earlier posted)..
The mounting hardware will be like 150 or something?
search for LS430 brakes on the 2gs forum.

Might be cheaper to go with an aftermarket BBK setup.

go with ls 400 calipers 98 up they are four piston and bolt right up just need rcas to clear tie rod bolt i did mine for under 400 bucks autozone calipers 95 dollars core 65 did not turn them in same day so they cant compare what your trading in so you take your calipers back the next day for your core rcas i made for about 10 bucks then drilled and slotted rotors from ebay 130 and i know everyone hates these rotors but htere cheap and they get you started you can always upgrade the rotors later this in my opinion is the best route unless your made of money

Minor correction, 95LS and up have the four piston calipers.
