Default Coilover questions

I'm starting to mod my IS 250 AWD, and the first mod I plan on doing is to lower my car with coilovers. Since I don't really know much about them or about car mods in general, I'm hoping some of you can give me some help in terms of finding the right ones.

First of all, what should I look for when looking at coilovers? What makes one type better than another? And which do you recommend (and why)? Thanks!

there's only one company producing coilovers for the AWD model. And i think he just ran out of stock for the time being. You can find the vendor in the vendor marketplace. I believe its BC Racing who produces it.

There's really only one type available for the AWD? Well that makes my decision easier!

Is there anywhere else I can get them so I don't have to wait for a new shipment to come in?

And if anybody's in the Toronto area, is there anywhere I can go to buy them in person, or do I have to have them shipped to me?

Corner balancing is great, but it's wasted money unless you track your car - all the suspension companies will tell you this themselves. Every time you put something in your car - a passenger, a load of books in your bookbag, etc... or even when your fuel level changes, it alters the corner weighting of your car, and negates all the work put into corner balancing the car.

A good full alignment is all that's necessary for a daily driven/street vehicle.

What's corner balancing?

And I just ordered the BC Racing IS 250 AWD Coilovers. Has anybody ordered from them before? It seems kind of odd that I don't believe they added tax to my order & didn't give me any sort of estimated delivery date.

Yeah we don't charge tax for Canada orders.

If anyone has any questions on the BC coilovers just PM us.

Thanks

Is the BC coilovers set all I need to lower my IS250AWD? Is the camber plate kit necessary?

How is the ride compare to stock setting?

My BC's are perfect, I love the 30 way adjustability and the wife has zero complaints.
