Pics of Different Springs
Hey Guys,
Can people post pics of their different springs? I'm looking to see the differene between L-Tuned, Eibach and H&R springs. I will be buying a set next week and want to see some "real world" examples. Thanks.

Here's a distant pic of Eibachs with factory 17's. I have some closer-up pics, but not with me my on my laptop.... I believe they're in the GS-gallery (look for Charlotte city pics).
I'm pretty sure L-tuned springs are actually made by Eibach, but have never read anything that says they are *exactly* the same as the Eibach springs... I got mine before L-tuned were offered by Lexus.

Mine:
*98 GS400
*LTuned Springs & Shocks
*~1" drop all the way around - (maybe a hair more; haven't measured in last few months; may have settled more)
*I thought it looked good with OEM17s; still excellent ride height with recently added (R)19x9.5 & (F)18xs8.5
PS
When I had my OEM17s, mine and Dave's were, I would say, had identical ride height and wheel gap measurements, and pretty much the same ride quality.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the pics. Dexter- how is the ride quality with the new suspension compare from the 17's to the 19's? I'm running 18's now but they look just a bit small for the GS4. Thanks.

The larger wheels emit a little more road noise, but inside the GS, with the Borlas, and the stereo, and the factory sound deaden-ing (a word?), plus the Dynamat in all the doors, you can hear it, but it isn't that bad either.
Small trade-offs IMHO.

Jacko,
I've got Bilstein shocks to go with the Eibachs, plus some other suspension mods that shouldn't make any difference in lowering / looks (click on link next to my signature for a list of them).
D
**edit** Jacko, I just clicked on my own link and realized that our website has been seriously horked up... this one is several iterations old - check back a bit later for an update.
