On stop 1 there will be no difference. By stop 10 if there isn't sufficient time to cool the rotors on the smaller brakes, there may be a difference, but only if stop 10 is in a 5 minute or less window. Bigger brakes don't stop any shorter in a single stop, but they do shed heat better so over time they'll outperform stock brakes. The problem is, the stock brakes are really good, so you'll be extremely hard pressed to have a braking problem if you are not on a track.

^^^^^^^^

which is why i chose to buy used IS 350 brakes off of a fellow CL member.

I'm hoping to get some track time before and after i swap brakes to see if there really is a difference in brake fade or if i even experience any on the track with stock is 250 brakes.

it'll mostly be pedal feel since the IS 350 brakes came with stop tech SS lines

however, when i took the car down to the tail of the dragon last year, i haven't experienced any brake fading and they were great from start to finish!

(I only have volk rims and eagle f1 asymmetrical tires. stock pads, rotors and calipers atm)

Thanks for the tip .

I'm going to modify my stock IS250 dust shields. How did you modify yours? Do you recommend cutting the edge "lip" or just bending it?
