Default clunking noise from rear suspension

First, i've searched the forum with no results.

After lowering the car on tein flex with 18'' wheels I have a clunking noise coming from my rear suspension. Sometimes I think it's in the trunk, trunk is empty. I changed the stablizer links but the noise continue. Occurs only when I go over bumps. I didn't have this noise before I touched the suspension. Anyone with this experience, please let me know how you fixed it. thanks in advance.

do you have upgraded wheels? did you change pillowball mounts for the coilovers? are your rear LCA bushings shot? Rear subframe bushings?

if you have lower offset wheels, i had an issue with rear tires impacting the fender until i did a roll/pull

thanks guys, the coilovers are new and come with pillow ball mounts, lowerer control arms are good, fenders are rolled, diff is solid. I notice I have a slight toe inward going for realingment. A friend told me it may be the camber bolts with the special washer. Do these bolts go bad.

I fixed this problem by taking a impact gun to the middle bolt on the stock tower. It was tight, but not tight enough to go over bumps.

you have Tein Flex as well? and this fixed the issue?

OP: I also have Tein Flex and have had this issue since day 1.... it's gotten to the point where i am planning on swapping out my Flex for something else It's not the worst thing in the world, just a tad annoying for me who just wants to cruise once in a while(no tracking)...
EDIT: also, there are other threads on the Flex with people having the same issue... we are not alone.

No, sorry I do not have coilovers, I just have Espelir springs on KYB shocks. After I installed my springs, it started with a clapping noise and progressively got worse until it was clunking when I went over bumps. Turned out that my middle bolt on the shock had some up/down free play in it. Clunking went away after torqued the crap out of it with a impact gun.
