sam430, are your RCAs 1-piece design? The metal sleeve should be at least steel, and it should extrude into the RCAs just like the OEM balljoint design. Integrated sharp edges like that are considered defects since you have a higher value of radial and circumferential stress. If they are indeed 2 piece design with the sleeve being steel, then ignore my post. It just hard to tell from the picture

"It's very well made", was my first impression. The sleeve's are like the oem sleeve... as far as I can recall. Not 100% sure ... it's very likely two pieces. ... I doubt it's an aluminum sleeve. I will take a look when I install my TRD sway.

kind of late into the discussion, but if anyone here is homebrewing a set, i wouldnt mind kicking in some money to fund the project.

sam's one piece design seems to be doing the job. i'm no engineer but i can understand how a one piece design would be less susceptible to breakage in hard cornering.

props to all you guys for thinking outside the box.

Exact RCA's are 38mm thick. From what I can tell from the pictures posted, those look less then 25mm thick.

How thick are the Sage?

That is why it would be nice to have sandwich plates.
Then you could supply flat spacers with sleeves built into each (not the best) and 4 bolts holding all the plates together with different sizes of nuts and bolts.
Then you could dial in drop and camber adjustment perfectly.
Also it would reduce lathing the plates ad it would now just be an outline of each peice as the top which has to get around the ball joint would not be connected .

This may get you guys that want to save $$ jumping.. This replaces the stock eccentric bolt in back.. Anyone want to be the guinee pig?

Ingalls Engineering Adjustable Camber Kits Adjustable Camber Kit - Eccentric Bolts - 17mm - Toyota - Lexus - Pontiac - Scion - FrontBrand: IngallsMfr Part #: 35450Be the first to write a review

Not all camber kits are created equal! These adjustable camber kits from Ingalls Engineering have a Posi-Change feature, allowing camber changes up to 3 degrees positive. Each block displays a vertical line above the bushing that represents a 2 degree positive change. Don't trust your wheel alignment to just anyone http://www.streetperformance.com/par...022-35450.html

Hmm , so it basically allow double the degree of camber toe adjustment by having an off centered lobe .
When i have some time i just might have to see how much it costs as that would be eaiser to buy than make.
Unless it is a matching one to an existing toyota part since it comes with the same set up for other arms from Toyota . Then you can use a normal offset cam with degree markings.
