I think the H&R and Tein "look" the best on the IS but I cant comment on the H&R ride. I am sure you cant go wrong with either. Both are great companies IMO.
never. /OT

i think i was one of the first few on s-techs - and still am. and i think i introduced them to you...

to the OP: post pics when you get them in, or it didn't happen.

Had them installed yesterday by Tommy at the MusicBox. Took hour and a half and got to chill with him, he's a really cool guy.

Car got hella dirty overnight!! OMG $%$^ sprinklers makin' it rain with the hard water spots.
Want to clean again before I take new pictures...I just cleaned it last Friday too.

The ride is noticeably stiffer. Not as floaty over bumps and stuff, but it's not too bad. When my friend sat in the car, he asked me if I got sways because in turns, car definitely stays fairly planted and doesn't have us slide in the seats like it would before. All in all, I like it visually and performance wise. I don't think I need F-Sport Sways anymore after this though because I don't want the ride to be too stiff, and the springs were able to take care of some of the body sway. Next thing for suspension would be F-Sport Shocks sometime down the line...

Has anyone dropped on H&R Springs and with the OEM wheels, got spacers?
If so, what thickness did you get. I am thinking of running 15mm in front and 20 in rear, but I am not sure whether or not it will rub.

It's been roughly a week, and I've gotten nearly 500 miles on the car since install.
I've got a case of the leansss!!

I think I need to make friends with heavier people so that passenger side gets more weight..

Oh yeah, sorry no straight on pics from the side. My friend took pics with me the other day around Mulholland/PCH

It's really hard to see from these pictures, so hopefully I'll take just regular ones to show the drop, but ahhh that lean is killing me now. Anyone large and in charge, care for a free ride??

When I walk around to that side of the car. It could just be the angles and such. I can't wait to get spacers, then it'll be easier to tell, but like, average people won't be able to notice. When it first dropped it was even, I think it's just still settling in, and my side did it faster just because of how it has more weight on it?

stonefan - How are you liking the ride and handling of the new springs, now that you've put a few hundred miles on them...........

The lean was all in my head/from the angles I was looking at it. Looking at it straight on, they are indeed level side to side!
Ride I still love. The springs haven't fully settled in yet, but it's a stiffer ride forsure, but not unbearably stiff. If I go slow over bumps and dips, it's hardly noticeable.
Gone canyoning with them a few times, it is definitely more stable in turns and doesn't throw me around. All in all, improves looks, handling, almost as much as sway bars would, and cheaper than buying sway bars.
