i need to double check if they will bolt up and work on my sc or not. i want to keep my supra brakes when i let go of this sc. thanks

good question, there are alot of 2nd gen guys with TT brakes. You do mean 2nd Gen GS?

The 98-00 GS uses the same rotor as the 92-00 SC400 if that helps.

 

Also curious, a buddy's buddy has a BBK for a GS that he's looking to swap + cash for stockers. If it would fit my SC, that would be sweet.

I have 2 SC' and a GS, so I know a few things about these cars

However; it does not take a genius to figure it out. If Supra brakes fit both SC and GS, you would think they are all interchangeable, right!!!

 

the front i'm sure they fit but the rears wont i tried

 

Didn't know Supra brakes were an upgrade for the GS as well. I know zip about the GS. Glad to hear you have actual knowledge and aren't talking out your ***.

Reason I wanted to know is a buddy of a buddy wants to sell his Rod Millen BBK off his GS for $500 plus stock parts.

 

wowo a RM bbk for 500 sounds like a good deal lucky you

 

I haven't been able to find ANY info on the RM kit, though, and don't have 500 bones lying around just now. We'll see if he still has it in a month or two.

 

RMM are relabeled tt brakes. Right, 2gen GS can only fit TT brakes in front, unlike the 1st gen where both front and back fit.
