on my previous car, infiniti g37, i had purchased a bbk that no one had, thought it would be cool to be the only one with it.... big mistake. the bbk was poorly designed, & was really weak. it was a 6 piston, but the pistons were so small, that the oem s sport 4 piston was a better feel because it had two big pistons. i wouldnt take a chance on a high dollar part

Dont know so much about the brake kit is this something that would work for my car see below:

Small 6 pot Big Brake kit (Set of 2)
Caliper finish: Anodized
Caliper color: Light blue
Choose your kit size and type: Front kit 330x32mm
Rotor type: 2 piece semi-floating
Rotor upgrade: Slotted
Pistons: Aluminium T6061
Brake Pads: Street grey pads
Rotor hat color: Light blue
Car Brand: Lexus
Car Model: Is250
Year: 2007

For this setup it would be $1290 shipped.

Where are you guys purchasing your rotors from?
Aside from the ones in the classifieds that are used.

i think the cracking on the drilled rotors is due to track use of hot temp to cold if your not tracking the car you should have no worries... When i was thinking about ordering them i just emailed Rotora direct.

Gents, those of you with brake distribution knowledge... I need to know if I will have issues with the below setup (as far as braking is concerned, not fitment)

REAR: 6 pot Big Brake kit
Choose your kit size and type: Rear kit 380mm (15")x32mm
Rotor type: 2 piece semi-floating
Pistons: Stainless steel
Parking brake system (for rear only): Drum

FRONT: 8 pot Big Brake kit
Choose your kit size and type: Front kit 405mm (16")x36mm
Rotor type: 2 piece semi-floating
Pistons: Stainless steel

That's crazy big

not to mention heavy. I liked the 355/355 on the Rotora I had or my current 355/345 F-Sports

Crazy is what I was going for though.
I wanted to have the biggest rotors on the 2IS forum. And so, now I will thanks to Sffd answering my question in post 232
Plus I drive an isSlow50 not an ISF. I'm not concerned about weight since the wheels in the front are already 20x10's. Just a looks factor is all.

I'm only concerned if I ordered the correct caliper sizes for brake distribution during those rare panic stops. I want the front to be biased over the rear.
