Default bushings for rear suspesion?

Hey guys, I am going through the entire suspension, replacing all the boots and bushings.

I finished the front today, minus the boots which I am ordering from prothane.

Just wondering what bushings I need for the rear? I ordered aftermarket toe rods and traction rods so I wont need those.

I went to the local parts place and they quoted me 170 dollars for the rear bushings kit (prothane), what is included in that?

are there any bushings on the diff I need to replace?

rear diff bushings:

the rears are really soft. i made my own solid mounts out of steel and welded them in.
Biggu made some out of aluminum and pressed them in.
Titan sells a weld in kit. check on their site.

front diff bushings:
titan makes a kit.
also look into Powered-by-max. biggu has their kit i believe.
my front diff bushings are stock for now. need to machine some soon.

prothane rear bushing kit:
includes the bushings for every single link in the syspension(upper control arms, lower control arms, traction rods, and toe rods)
the rear kit usually goes for 100 bucks. check other places online for prices.

also do a search. biggu posted a link to summit where the kit is even cheaper then that i believe.

if you are doing all that also look into Energy sway bar bushings. do a search and a thread will pop up with the part numbers. it can be ordered at your local parts store as well.

thanks,

I heard there are also rear hub bushings included in the prothane kit?

Does anyone know the part numbers of the individual peices to the prothane kit? Since I am using aftermarket traction and roe rods I do not need the entire kit.

Front diff bushings?! I want aware we had front diff? I know we need to replace our steering rack bushings, is this what you are refering to?

Also, is there a polyurethane mounts for our diffs? I don't want to use steel as it will transmit a lot of vibrations into the body.

Also I am buying aftermarket sways so I will not need energy bushings. I am using supra subframe mounts, and need to replace the subframe mount bushing as well.

Thanks,

I have the prothane kit front and rear as well, and daizen sway bar bushings. I highly recommend both!

by front diff bushings i mean the bushings for the front of the differential mounts.

the diff has two mounting "ears" in the front. those have rubber bushings. the back of the diff has 2 diff bushings as well.

the parts for the rear prothane kit #18-304:
U-64318 (x8) - upper bushing
U-64379 (x2) - lower bushing
U-64320 (x2) - lower link bushing
U-65046 (x2) - strut rod bush, fwd
U-65047 (x2) - strut rod bush, aft
U-66056 (x2) - lower shock bush

the rest on the list are sleeves (x10) of different lengths, plus six super grease

I ordered mine last year from Jeg's, for like $80+s/h, but it looks like they jacked up the price and there's a three week waiting period.
