Default OEM struts with aftermarket spriings?

Is it possible to have OEM struts with aftermarket springs or vice versa?? Does anyone have this combo?? what are the the pros and cons??

you can use aftermarket springs with stock struts but usually a good idea to replace the struts at the same time, preferably with aftermarket struts. This is because if you are using lowering springs, they will wear out OEM struts much faster than aftermarket struts designed to take the abuse

depending on the age of your car , chances are the struts are allready bad.
