Default F-Sport Springs and Tein Silencers

I just ordered my F-sport Springs and am about to order the Tein silencers to avoid any clunking noise. My question is, how many silencers do I need?

I just ordered my springs and silencers as well...and after searching I found that alot of the other members used between 4 and 5 packs of the tein silencers (2 per pack for a total of 8 or 10 silencers). I ordered 4 packs, but you should be fine with 4 or 5 packs (90-130mm)

4 packs(4 silencers per side) raised my car to almost stock level. Now, I only have 2 silencers per side but they are spaced to cover about 3 coils and my drop is where it should be. Also, no clunk.

I recently installed the Fsports & Tein silencers 3 months ago. I used 5 silencers per coil (5 packs, med size) for the rears only. I've had NO clunking noises whatsoever since day 1.

However, I do think 5 per side may be overkill. Tein springs themselves I think only come with 2 per coil, installed by the factory. I've seen them personally on the S-techs. They are spaced out very liberally.

Either way, you definitely need the silencers for the Fsports to avoid noise.

How do the silencers raise the car?

Yeah man, 2 might be okay since Tein springs I think come with 2 already installed from the factory. Although, there still may be a slight thud over bumps. I went with 5 on each on the advice from another member who did the same. Check out the link with pics below. There's a huge thread on the issue. Make sure to install the silencers near the top where the coils are closer together and prone to making contact.

I tell you this much though. With 5 installed on each side, I have heard ZERO NOISE since the install. Not a damn thing!!!

Two silencers on each of the rear springs (2nd and 4th coils down) will eliminate the noise

I thought the same thing, until it happened with 4 silencers on each side(similar to the pic on the link S to K posted above)

It may be due to the slight thickness of the silencer....but every car is different and may react in it's own way. I installed the silencers myself, but I did not disassemble the spring and strut. I just took off the wheel, jacked up the rear, and slid the silencers on.
