front popping noise

front popping noise
i have a 94 sc400 and whenever im backing up and turning the wheel i hear a popping noise coming from the front right. it happens whether im stepping on the brake or not. but it only happens when im backing up and turning the wheel. does anybody know what this could be?

any help? i just replaced the upper control arms today but that didnt help. its only coming from the passenger side when i back up. its a pretty loud popping noise. my end links and sway bar bushings are all good.
