whats the diff between an upper ball joint and upper control arm? i've never heard of an upper ball joint....

the terms are used interchangeably in our case because the ball joint is fixed to the control arm. cant replace one w/o the replacing the other. in some cars, you can seperate the ball joint from the arm.
