Probably because the "rumors" aren't true.

The F-sport bars will produce less understeer than the Hotckis ones, period.

Both will be a significant improvement from stock, the F-sport bars will be a more significant one though.

The Hotchkis bar specs are 19mm rear and 32mm front... the F-sport bars are 19mm rear and 28.6mm front.

(Someone also mentioned the hotchkis rear as hollow vs the solid F-sport bar)

Bigger front bar=more understeer, pretty much by the definition of how sway bars work.

The stiffness info BTW is based on Fsport.com reporting 161% stiffer rear on the F-sport bar on the IS350, while the places selling the hotckis bars list the rear as 70 or 140% stiffer depending which setting you use.

Don't get me wrong, Hotchkis makes a quality product, I've used their stuff on other cars with no problem.

But for performance on the 2IS I'd suggest the F-sport bars over them every day of the week and twice on weekends.

I bought the Hotchkis sways about two months ago and love them. No regrets. IMO, the handling is neutral with no understeer issues using the correct tire psi. I'm sure you can't go wrong with F-Sport or Hotchkis. The handling upgrade is noticed immediately. Def. one of the best mods for the IS.

Maybe the best set up would be Hotchkis in the front, F-sport in the rear?

While that would be a slight improvement over using hotckis front and rear it'd still be more prone to understeer than just using F-sport front and back.

The stiffer the rear bar, all else being equal, the less understeer. the stiffer the front bar, all else being equal, the -more- understeer.

The rear Hotchkis bar on the stiffer setting while less stiff than the F-sport is "close enough" to the F-sport rear in that you probably couldn't tell the difference... but for the front bar the Hotchkis is significantly larger, which isn't at all what you want on a car that understeers quite a bit from the factory.

Again, both setups will improve handling and reduce understeer. It's just the F-sport setup will reduce it more.

I just installed the rear F-Sport on my 350, feels alot more planted and flat in fast turns, feels about stock at low speeds.

This question was to IS250 owners that did just the rear bar, to see if the change was noticeable, and was in a good way. If the change of the front bar is negligible on the 250, then I'd rather save my money.

From what people say, having a stiffer rear bar than front bar means more oversteer/neutral than understeer. Then if you have stock oem front bar, and f-sport rear bar, does that mean near oversteer or more neutral feel?

Edit: Notice bold

and I've told ya (3 times now) that the front is -not- a negligible change for a 250.

Also, what are the differences between the F-sport Sways and Jun-TW sways besides Jun-TW being ridiculously more expensive!?!
