Anyone run stock brakes with slotted/drilled rotors?
Just wondering if anyone run slotted and drilled rotors on the stock brakes. My old mercedes has drilled and slotted rotors and it looks 10x better than the IS350 ones. Any brand in particular I should look for? The ebay one looks like a good deal. Full set of drilled and slotted rotors with brake pads for $400. What do you guys think?

I think drilling holes in perfectly good rotors is a great way to make them crack sooner, and that slotted rotors are great for the track and just wear your pads faster on the street.
I agree they look great on a show car, but I'd never put em on one I actually drove around.

I think as long it isn't abused it will not have any problems such as regular street driving..
But according to the description, it said that it will make the brake pad life longer and the rotors? Is that false?

I just switched my pads the other day to ceramic ones cause I was sick of the brake dust issues with out cars and my 20's. I have 25k on my car and my pads still had a lot of life on them still, the backs had like 75% left on them. I switched to CMAX gold ceramic pads from auto zone with a life time warranty. So anytime they need to be replaced i just take them back to auto zone and get a new pair for free. They were like $130 for all 4 and I love them so far, no brake dust barely at all.

i do, with green stuff pads forgot the name of my rotors, but does anyone have that CLICKING NOISE when you initially press the BRAKES? nothing major it seems like the shims are moving or clicking or something.

When the OEM rotors need to be replaced I will go for at least slotted, not sure about drilled. I will continue to use dust free OEM pads. The stock IS350's brakes are more then adequate for hard street use.

They'll certainly matter in terms of how long the product lasts
(doubly so if you insist on drilled rotors... they'll all crack sooner than solid ones, but cheaply made ones will do so sooner and with a lot less abuse)
That's not to say you need to spend a fortune on high-end parts given they all stop in the same distance, but I don't think I'd use rotors from the lowest bidder from china (and certainly not drilled ones)
