How much of a difference do bushings make?
My car is 15 years old, and I'm sure my bushings are all worn to useless scraps of rubber, and i was just wondering, how much of a difference would new bushings make. Night and Day difference?
And if i were to replace some bushings, which ones would i replace first,
Thanks in advance

It makes hugh difference.
It's pain in the axx changing them.
Pay someone to do it for you.
My mechanic charged me about $1k for changing ALL bushing, installing sway bars and coil overs. Took him all day to do it.
Kept saying Mother something.... and kept repeating 4s for about 8 hours.
He used tools from screw driver, chemicals, saw and blow torch trying to take those old bushing out.

Its night and day on the difference. Its time consuming, but well worth the time and money doing it. I did it in December, including the sway bar bushings, links, upper and lower bushings, and finally rack and pinion bushings. I did all of this together before driving it agian, but overall, Night and DAY!
If you were in Alabama, I would do it for about 500...

I'm installing Daizen bushings and lca's this right now. Thank goodness for the DIY, it's nice to have the color pics. Taking a break at the moment. If your rubber bushings are toast then your lower ball joints probably aren't far behind (if you haven't already replaced them). Can't wait to see the daylight at the end of THIS tunnel ;-)

Did mine a couple of years ago (Daizens) upper and lower C.A. fronts. That was a fun job. The biggest headache for me was getting the sway bar end-link nut loose (it takes an allen wrench to hold still while loosening with a hex wrench). The fun part was torching the old bushings out of the steel sleeves.
But if I had it to do all over, I would NOT use Daizens. Great for the performance driver, but lousy for those (like myself) who prefer the luxury and comfort of the renowned "Lexus Ride". There's a fella over in Australia (I think) who makes rubber ones. The only other way to get OE ones is to buy the entire upper or lower control arms.
