Default Autozone LS400 Calipers the same?

Hey, whats up all, question:
does anyone have experience with the LS400 calipers that autozone sells?
Im wondering if they are exactly the same as the OEM calipers that come off the LS.
ALSO, what year are those type calipers made up to? 01' 02'? or do they only go up to 00'?

thanks in advance for the feedback..

Default Not expensive at all..

Well your right about that one, they do sell rebuilt stuff. and the ones they have look awfully similar.
The price is not bad either, concidering what the dealership would charge you there a steal; $80 bucks each plus $65 for the core.

You can have a BBK for the front for only $160 bucks! (minus the rotors and the pads, and providing you turn in your old calipers for the core refund..)

I am planning on doing this mod as soon as i need brakes. It's pretty easy from what i understand. Direct bolt on but the dust shield needs to be modified a bit and if your not running RCAs then you have to shave down your outer tie rod bolts.

Also, you might have to shave down the caliper itself around where the caliper comes in contact with the tie rod bolt.. do a search there's decent information on here covering that subject.

i called a local junk yard and was quoted like 50$ for a set. I would probably rebuild them before installing but that would be the option i'd take.
