Default F-Sport Springs and Tein Silencers

I just bought the springs from Sewell. I decided - based on the excellent advice and advice from CL members - to get the springs and keep the stock shocks for now. To all who suggested coilovers: I wanted to go this route, but I just couldn't invest the additional funds (already bought too many other F-Sport parts), so I went the cheap route - and I'm hoping I don't regret it.

I just bought the Tein Silencers from "Options Auto Salon." I hope that site is legitimate. Has anyone else used them?

This is what I bought. I think these "Mediums" were the correct ones, based on what I've read on CL.

TEIN-SPR02-G149TEIN SPRING SILENCER RUBBER: MEDIUM

Is this correct? If not, please let me know soon, so I can cancel the order before it's too late. Thanks.

Options auto salon is legit.....they have been around for years. Yes, that is the right size.

Thanks. It looks like it shipped within about 2 hours (UPS # and all). They must be efficient.

I'm looking forward to putting the springs on. I'm also a little stressed, though, due to the reported issues with different heights front/back, side/side, corner/corner, not to mention the clunking, etc.

Aren't the silencers intended to stop the clunking? How many sets do you need per spring?

Yes, the silencers are supposed to reduce or eliminate the clunking (coil slap).

From the CL conversations, it sounds like either two per springs (set on just the right loops of the springs) or four to five per spring.

It also sounds like the silencers are only needed for the rear springs.

I'm planning to put four on each back spring and then see if the fifth is necessary.
