Default Spring Choice Help!!

I tried to order H&R, but they are on backorder, so I started searchign again and think that I might want to go with a milder drop. Overall, I am looking for about a 2 or 2.5 finger gap in the front and back (similar to a 335 with sport suspension). Since the back already sits lower, I figure I need a setup that lowers my front more than the back.

I have an IS 350 and the setups I have been looking at are Tein H Tech (1/.6) and Eibach 250 (1.4/1). I have searched for pics, but haven't been able to find many with H Tech on stock 18s. Also, does the spring rate for the Eibach 250 risk damaging the IS 350s suspension.

Unfortunately, I really havn't been able to find the answers I need through searching, so I was hoping for some help. Other options are welcome too. My criteria are (with 18s):
1. Even (or as close as possible) wheel gap front and back.
2. Moderate drop (I don't want a slammed look).

Thanks for the help.

Consider F-Sport or Eibach 350's for modest drop (pic is with 19's):

drop of 1.0 front / 0.8 rear

Eibach 250 are a good mild drop. They souldn't damage the IS350 suspension, they're practically identical. I'm not sure about how wheel gap is front and rear. And with H&R, I don't look slammed. I actually like the look and I get a lot of compliments on how it's a tasteful drop.

But H&R on backorder!?!? Try contacting ab2design, he's a vendor here from FL and should be able to hook you up nicely when you do decide!!

I have looked at F Sport and the Eibach 350, but both seem to leave a noticeably large front wheel gap as compared to the rear.

I tried b2design first and they indicated that the springs would be on backorder for a few weeks. Once place I checked even said late Sept.

I might just have to wait for the H&R, unless I can find some better pics of the Tein H Tech and Eibach 250.

Tein H Tech are hardly noticeable, it's like you're riding stock practically. Try M1, that's actually where I got my springs, and they gave me a deal I could not pass up.

Order and wait for the H&R's. They provide a really nice drop and will fill in the wheel gap you are looking for. GL

I was the same way. I couldn't afford coils, wanted a nice drop but didn't want to sacrifice ride quality. H&R's are a progressive spring and IMHO, the best drop. Ride quality is harsher than stock, no getting around that. If the road is smooth, the ride quality is firm but not harsh and is very acceptable. If the roads where you live are filled with pot holes, the quality goes downhill with loud "thumps". However, they are not bumpy or uncomfortable by any means. If I ever bought another IS, I would buy them again.

I couldn't get M1 on the phone, but I have called a few other places and no one has the H&R in stock. There has to be someone that actually has a set of these for sale.

I think I am going to wait for the H&R. I haven't read a negative thing about H&R yet, but I have about other springs. I am going to keep searching, but it looks like I am going to have to wait until they come off backorder. I hate waiting.
